Keares Electric now has three certified Green Advantage employees! With the ever-so-exciting Renewable Energy industry sector, Keares continues to motivate it's clients and employees to become more environmentally conscious. With having Completed Millions of Dollars of Green/LEED certified projects as well as the first gold rated manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania (Arezeen USA), Keares Electric is dedicated to improving the environment. Through our new KRAP program (Keares Recycles Always Program) we are promoting recycling of all construction materials.


In an active market, the Keares team has been able to focus on many retail clients, including "big box" and strip retail centers. Clients include Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Home Depot, Michaels, Linens 'N Things and Modell's, just to mention a few. These companies have been expanding stores and retrofitting locations within our target market and we also service many of our retail customers with lighting retrofits or shelving relocations throughout the year.


Within the ever-so-active "Office" segment in our industry, we have increased our market share drastically through new construction, renovations and tenant fit-outs of office buildings. We have performed design/build services for clients such as Hartford Insurance, Fidelity Investments, Wachovia and hundreds of other corporations.


From prototype restaurants to brew houses to fast-food chains, we have been able to satisfy the needs of many different clients, all with the same goal in mind: to give the public the highest-quality food service available. With that objective as our primary focus, we are able to deliver projects on time and meet the high standards required for our customers' needs. We also have been involved with design/build restaurants within our target market, including Doc Holiday's Steakhouse, John Harvard's Brew House and Gibraltar's.


In our own Pennsylvania churches, including the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Lancaster, St. Luke's in Broomall, St. Sophia's in Trooper and Holy Trinity Church in Harrisburg, we have been blessed with the opportunity to offer a complete turnkey installation including generators, lighting, renovations and/or additions to our immediate congregations. We also have been fortunate enough to build new churches for communities of all types of beliefs, from St. Basil's Catholic Church in Kimberton to West Chester United Methodist to the Baharitya Temple in Warminster.


The growth within the communities of Pennsylvania has allowed for many townships to build and/or expand their existing facilities and has brought many different customers our way. Such townships include Uwchlan, Westtown, West Lampeter, Franconia, West Bradford, Upper Merion, Lower Merion, East Caln and West Whiteland. With their new police buildings or their increased administrative needs, we have been able to accommodate all aspects of electrical services including data and security wiring for many of these customers.


With the ever growing "residential" trend in our country and region, we have focused on custom additions and renovations. We also focus on custom new homes for many of our commercial customers Mr. and Mrs. Knauer, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pancoast. With adding a service or adding a receptacle to pools or spas, we are able to handle any residential need with the utmost quality and management required in every electrical project.


This segment has been on the rise with facilities such as retirement homes, Condo buildings and assisted living facilities. There is a residential theme but the volume and the size of the distribution places this type of work in a category of its own. With the availability of design/build and/or plan and specifications, we have offered customers such as Luther Acres in Lititz, and Windsor at Glenn Mills, a professional experiencing from beginning design concepts to testing and functioning of all electrical apparatus.


Having the ability through key project management, we are able to maintain the needs of many institutional clients including new construction, renovations and services with customers such as Villanova University (West Campus Dorm Expansion), Cabrini College, Millersville University, Armenian Sisters Academy and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. We have also been able to maintain a large list of references.


With in-house crews and equipment, we have increased our market share of projects including sub lot utility teaching for many different residential developers, including Cosmos Development and Ryan Homes. CVE with coordination with all utilities as required meeting critical and costly deadlines. Our excavation department also maintains a large volume of street lighting including new, renovation and/or additional parking requirements for many of our customers. With our own Digger Dericks, we offer complete turnkey site lighting installation, which saves our customers time and money. Our excavation department is often involved with electrical duct banks, with installation of secondary service from 100 AMP to 8000 AMPS, and 120 Volt single Phase to 35KV primary conduits and conductors.
