Paul Soja, Jr.
According to Bob Keares, president of Keares Electrical Contracting, "the featured employee honor is given to individuals to recognize loyalty and performance - related to our business goals. Paul has been with us about three years, and has made a real niche for himself," says Bob. "I can always count on Paul to get a job done! His dedication to our company and his career have been nothing but impressive."
Meet Paul Soja, Jr., Project Manager and CAD Designer in the Keares Exton Office.
Need a detailed CAD drawing, help with project management or materials? Need a hand with estimating or a computer problem? Ask Paul Soja! The weekend is almost here and you need tickets to a Metallica or Alice in Chains concert - yep, go see Paulie.
His title is Project Management / CAD Design, to his fellow employees, it's more like "go to guy." Paul tells us he likes diversity and a good challenge. "I'd have to say the most rewarding thing about my job is exceeding co-worker and customer expectations. I always try to outdo myself with everything I do," says Paul.
When asked about some of the challenging parts of his job, Paul says, "Balancing time for each job and task. When you're part of many different projects - you have to make sure that time is allotted for everything that needs to get done…on time."
"In the construction industry - you can expect the unexpected. Workers like Paul who learn to deal with problems in a professional manner will always succeed," said Brian Marinari, Sr. Project Manager. "We try to put Assistant Project Managers such as Paul, in as many situations as possible. On-the-job training cannot be taught in the classroom. It's our job as managers to find each employee's strengths and use them to help grow our company. Paul has many strengths and brings value to Keares on a daily basis."

As a kid, he worked almost every summer in his father's construction business. Paul grew to know he would do something with construction. "I used to draw houses for fun as a kid in different CAD programs, so I knew that I wanted to go to school for computer aided drafting. Prior to working at Keares, I had a job creating metal enclosures for all types of equipment. Interesting…but not a great fit."
"Throughout all of my schooling (grade school & college), I received certificates for having great attendance. That's something I take pride in because attendance is key to each and every job."
Concerts, concerts, concerts! Paul goes to about 15 concerts a year and recently saw Mötley Crüe twice in one weekend. He also enjoys Philadelphia sporting events, road trips in his hot yellow Scion to the beach and Atlantic City… and "just hanging with friends."
Thank you Paul for everything you do for our customers and employees!
